A Black Tie Birthday Bash

Snap Cubby Junior made it’s debut to the world with a private birthday party in San Luis Obispo. The black velvet patterned backdrop that we offer with all of our rentals set the stage perfectly for this classy black tie event. With the ladies busting out their best interpretation of the “sexy red dress”, the men tried to keep it classy with suits and ties. There were even some tuxedos in the mix!

The difference between Junior and our classic hard-walled photo booths was made clear, and we loved seeing the difference! Our traditional photo booths offer a totally different experience as the guests are hidden behind a closed curtain. This adds a bit of comfort and privacy, allowing the guests to be candid and silly without others watching their every move. While groups can still squeeze into our traditional photo booths, the close view of the camera produces a much different image. This close, intimate setting in our old-fashioned photo booths also adds a romantic and nostalgic feeling, especially when just one couple happily occupies it.

On the other hand, the open feel of Junior creates an interactive group dynamic like no other. With friends watching the whole process, the open set became an extension of the party. Everyone gathered together for massive group shots, while individuals and couples had an open space to let their own creative ideas run wild. The results were hilarious! So much fun was had at this party, and we can’t wait to share Snap Cubby Junior at many more great events to come!
