Nick & Nicole’s Wedding
Nick and Nicole were treated to spectacular weather this weekend! After tying the knot at the Saint Christopher Church, the couple headed over to the Hayes Mansion to celebrate with their friends and family.
The two chose our free standing open air photo booth, Snap Cubby Junior, to add some memorable entertainment to their reception. We set up with our rich black velvet patterned backdrop in the foyer outside the big banquet hall. Dinner was served in the banquet room where the dance party took place. At first we thought we were a bit too out of the way and guests might not venture over to Snap Cubby, but then we realized we were 10 feet from the bar…
Sure enough, it didn’t take long before Snap Cubby took over the foyer and everyone dove in for all kinds of fun candid photos. The beauty of Snap Cubby Junior is that it encourages larger groups to get together in front of the camera and let their inhibitions go. Our Classic Photo Booths definitely offer a more private, intimate setting, but Junior ends up being an experience for the whole party.
Meanwhile in the banquet hall, DJ Antonio Diaz of Sound Shine kept the dance floor rocking all night. Antonio is a true professional, and we always get a kick out of seeing how much fun he has keeping the whole crowd moving with the perfect dance mixes. At one point the sound got muffled as if a speaker may have blown, but before the song was even over Antonio was carrying in two giant backup speakers to swap out. We’ve seen simple equipment failures like this put an instant end to the party, but like I said, Antonio is a pro. The crowd didn’t even seem to notice, and the party rocked on. We love working with such amazing vendors!
Congrats to Nick and Nicole, we had a blast celebrating with the two of you!
