Snap Cubby first began it’s quest to make every wedding, fundraiser, bar mitzvah, holiday party, or random event more fun and memorable right here in San Luis Obispo. Since our start in 2008, we’ve managed to put smiles on countless faces at events ranging from the infamous YPNG fundraising parties held each year at the Children’s Museum downtown, to wine club pick-up parties at some of the most spectacular wineries in the area.

San Luis Obispo offers some of the greatest wedding venues in the world! There are so many hidden gems in the area, and no matter what style of wedding you dream of, there is something for everyone. We’ve run our photo booth off of a small generator at weddings perched on top of the cliffs in Big Sur, or surrounded by the extravagant pink decor of the Madonna Inn. If you like vineyards, or just like wine, the best is right here in our back yard! Want to get married in a rustic barn? We have all kinds to choose from! Love the idea of a bare-foot beach wedding? Just pick your beach!

Just for the fun of it, we decided to pack up Snap Cubby in our trusty (yet creepy) big blue van and haul her up to the top of the Cuesta Grade. It was a treacherous journey with giant tarantula spiders and few hundred of the biggest pot-holes ever, but we eventually made it to the top. The result was the beautiful panoramic photo above. If you’ve never seen the view from up there, we suggest you make the trek if you ever have the chance! A 4×4 vehicle, or excellent van-driving skills are recommended…
